BR cover template 3118 x 1748
looking for a basic Bluray cover template for Photoshop that has guide lines for front, back, and spine.
I downloaded many from the covers sections and they all seem to be 3173 X 1762

Why not just make one, they are simple to make. I use the larger size Blu-ray covers myself.

I am a photoshop newbie, how are those guidelines created so that they are on the exact coordinates and not part of the image?
Is the technical term for these even called guidelines or is it called something else?

Let Google be your friend, it will guide you through all the steps you will need to do. Just type in how to make a DVD Cover Template.

Here is the one I setup for my designs, as all the ones I have found the spine guides are not correct, at least not for the cases I have, I don't know anyway this is what I use as it works.
CLT Designs BD 12.5mm Spine 3118 X 1748 Cover Template with Basic Guides:

Thanks just used it. Created a custom of Jordan to the Max using a spine I created, front from BD, and custom back from someone from one of the Bluray forums.
