The Insider

One of those movies that I have no idead why it took me this long to see. I pride myself on having seen so many and all that, but I just got around to watching this Yesterday. Wow was I impressed, this is a great film (I expected it would be considering the cast and Michael Mann). So I returned the rental to blockbuster and bought the copy they had on hand. Why is the cover so shitty? Is it just me or does it look like Keifer Sutherland on the front instead of Crowe? But I thought, no big deal I will toss it (by that I mean add it to the huge stack of original covers I have discarded over the past couple years) and look here for a good cover. Why is there nothing good at all? No real customs (a couple weak ones), but nothing from any of the big names around here, you know who you are. So I might make one myself, god forbid me having the time, fucking midterms. But I am wondering if anyone is in the process of making on or sitting on something or after reading my wonderful post, thinking: "shit I should go make one!"

Anybody?... or is the film not as great as I thought?

(obviously this happens with many films, but considering the topic/cast/crew I was more surprised than usual)

Absolutely amazing movie and yes it deserves an equally good cover. Why one hasnt been made is beyond me. In my top ten movies.

After reading the post I dug out my copy, and you are right. It is one of the lamest covers on the shelf. Looking for a replacement myself.

Probably from a lack of materials. That's always a killer for me doing covers. But, I know what you mean. There are quite a few movies that I think of as awsome, only to find the scan here or at other sites.

As the gent above me said. It's probably due to a sore lack of Art more than anything else. It was a pretty low-key release if I remember, and the various art images don't really differ from country to country.

Well, I was gonna do one myself after reading the post, but now PP is on the case, there's not much point. TBH, I don't think I have seen this film, but if what you lot are saying is true, it just might be worth a trip down Asda in the morning! hope you don't make me waste a tener!

Yes it was underrated i believe....it had an intense atmosphere without any real action...bit like Crimson Tides.
