HELP : Howard the duck & captain america !!
Guys i need some help BIG TIME, i have been after these two movies for years on dvd,i thought it was impossible, but i noticed from the marvel covers i downloaded from this site that someone might know where i can get them with the listed 5.1 eng and subs etc, a PROPER DVD!! can anyone PLEASE tell me where i could purchase a copy of each of these?

Well they have Howard the Duck and Captain America on ebay but whether they are the real deal I couldnt tell ya....

Amazon.com says that it will be released on Dec. 31, 1969, and they can ship it to you when it arrives...

It was never officially released, so I'd assume that any copies found on ebay are just transfers of the VHS.

Ok thanks guys, have managed to purchase one of each, aparently they are transfered from laserdiscs and have fully interactive menus.

I just wish I kept my 1969 dvd player. Wood panelling, plush orange faux velvet on the side. Man it was nice. Looked a little odd beside the 8-track though. Wish I wouldn't have sold it though. When beta came out I thought the DVD player was oblolete. Who knew....

If Lucas has anything to say about it (and I think he might), we won’t see Howard until after he (Lucas) is gone.
I’ve got my VHS transfer that I’m gonna finish some day. It’ll have to do.
I’d give my left nut for Quark, FWIW. (Quark, not my left nut.)

I made Howard the Duck from my VHS...Chaptered it up made a label and a cover looks pretty professional. It's a classic had to keep it in my collection!
