this movie was a complete waste of shelf space

Well here's my 2 cents...

1. I only saw the movie once in theatres, i liked it a lot, but due to work etc, i didn't get to see it twice in theatres (which for me is the norm , with a film I like a lot

2. I knew this was coming out (the "extended" version) so unlike other titles i didn't have to "double dip"

3. I was lucky, up here in Toronto ZELLERS (a department store) has a "slight misprint in their weekly flyer, it made the price $23.86, so i paid basically what I would have paid for the original "bare bones" version

4. I don't know the movie well enough, to really see what was "newly inserted" to make it an Extended Version) and I hope the rumours of it only being 7 minutes, and having the end credits eating up the other 13 minutes (at the end of each individual story) are false, but again, I don't know the original well enough...

5. I did, and Did NOT like the way it was put together...

I like the fact that you could watch the 4 stories (or 3 stories, and 4 minute "prologue and epilogue) by themselves as individual stories

However, It would have been nice to watch the film in its original theatrical order, with the "extra" stuff inserted...

6. I did like the extra's , so overall, I'd say :IF you haven't bought the bare bones version, it is worth the extra $6-$8 more for this version, which also includes a "mini-Graphic novel" of the original Frank Miller novels (which no one mentioned yet)

so there was my 2 cents...

okay $2.00 worth...

I loved it, it was a movie that had the guts to defy the Hollywood rules!!!
