I too had a problem with this title (on 2 dvd players ,and my ps2.
when i brought it back to Future Shop here in toronto, they were assholes...
i explained the problem is with the run...
they said heres another copy (which is the norm, to avoid piracy) fine
but i took the manager over to a store dvd player...
put my original copy in, **it didn't work
I then opened my "new" rplacement copy, put it in, same thing...
i then suggested that she open another and see it was the "run" of the dvd...
she sad NO i cannot open another dvd, as it would have to be returned to the vendor????
duh?
so I said to her "see this doesn't work, you should pull the movie from your shelf, and give me a credit note, or giftcard, (or money back)...
she replied " I can't do that, unless head office sends a memo about the run being defective?"
I replied " see dvd , see other dvd? see defect? see nametag say manager, see fact that i am not trying to rip off store?
why not make own decision, have brain?, spine, ?
(talked to her in a grade 1 level)
so here I am at home with a defective dvd still, with the "promise " of when the head office says so, that they will refund my money...
so needless to say, i came home, explained everything that i have explained here, in a letter via e-mail to the head office, and i'm hoping to resolve this...
my wife also e-mailed a simular complaint about the dvd from her computer, and she will under another name e-mail from work tomorrow about the same thing...
i Hate corperations (Future shop in canada is run by Best Buy)
geeze, i paid for said product, said product is defective, replacement is defective, what does that tell you?
