X-Files Collector's Edition sets....any different?
Just curious if any of you know about the new X-Files Season Collector's Edition sets. Are they any different than the previous season sets? Or, are they just re-packaged?

They are a re-package of the original series set, however they do not include the bonus discs. Also they are in new slimer cases.

One day a new edition will be released with 5.1 sound just to milk the franchise some more.

What is on the extra disc? I'm just wondering if it's enough to warrant me buying the old sets??

i dont think the new ones will enclude more ectra's then the old boxen

You're right. The new packages don't have more extra's than the old ones. It's just a new jacket around the plastic dvd boxes.

They are. ALL the new sets are missing the last disc in each set with all the bonus features. So essentially you are losing 9 discs of extras buying the new sets.
