Like I said, I have The police squad series (only 6 episodes) and I love it, because I like surreal comicity and I believe that series is the top of that kind of visual humor. But recently I discover the existance of another silly tv series, created years before Police squad (that's made in 1982) that could be as fantastic as the ZAZ creation: it's name is GET SMART, and within the writers there is Mel Brooks. GET SMART is a 007 parody, and the first season was aired in 1965! They made 5 seasons of it, and very recently came out a DVD collection containing all 5 seasons stored in 25 discs. It' s a dream!!! My only concern is about the english subtitles: are them there? I can't find informations about it. I'm italian and the presence of the subs is topic to me. |

That's all for the time being, oh yea, and the only season of Freaks and Geaks, what can I say, I liked that show. And I do have band of Brothers, but I consider that more of an epic than a television series.
