30 Minutes of '80s Cartoon Intros

There's a lot of imagination and heart in these hand drawn images! There's a lot of cheese too, but that's part of the charm.

Some thoughts:
I, um, would like to know more about Prince Adam's "fabulous secret powers."

Princess Eudora's expression makes her look more drugged out than Carrie Fisher in RETURN OF THE JEDI. I know that they could only afford to give her one expression, but why that one?

BRAVESTAR is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. It's one of those cartoons that I completely forgot about about until watching this. I don't know what it is about the idiosyncratic pairing of westerns and sci-fi, but this really works for me. That he's Native American is just awesome!

Plus, like, his horse is a DUDE!!!!

You don't see many cats wearing leg warmers nowadays.

I never realized quite how anime INSPECTOR GADGET was. Plus, he just incinerated his chief in a safe. Disturbing.

One day, that gorilla is going to go ape and tear the Ghostbusters apart. You can't trust an animal like that.

Speaking of which, a lesser family would have put Marmaduke to sleep.

Okay, Gilligan! You're going into the airlock!

Of this set, GILLIGAN'S PLANET is easily the most painful. Can you imagine trying to sit through that cartoon (again)?

You know? It really is a duck world, isn't it?

First thing i noticed, they guy voicing He-man is completely inappropriate. But i do like the line "fabulous secret powers were revealed to me..." and lets face it, they were pretty fabulous powers.

I also kinda wish Inspector Gadget was a more robocop type of situation where Red Forman blasts him to pieces in the intro and they rebuild him. Maybe that's a little dark, but one can wish.
