Anybody see this yet. I love the Saw movies and this looks to be Tarantino doing saw. I am going to check it out tomorrow.

Dude. I just saw this. Crazy messed up. It realy is sick. It has an awesome ending though. Realy good payoff.

It's nothing like Saw though. And Tarantino being involved doesn't show for me.

i have mixed emotions about this one. this is not a tarantino movie at all...its just a straight thiller....no twists, no grandiose story lines....just a bunch of people killing other people.

well, that being said, it was a decent movie, but it could have been a bit more gory because the trailer looked as if it would be. it was gory, don't get me wrong...just i though there would be more blood and torture. also, some of the teaser art is just that...there is no scene with anyone putting a drill into someone's mouth!!!

it could have been a bit more realistic as the massive blood loss that should have been occuring as a result of their injuries in the end should have prevented them from even being able to walk, much less run and drive a car (i guess you could say that the chinese chick wasn't suffering blood loss because her wound should have been cauterized)

and the whole car thing where everything comes full circle...that was too much....ie i get the part about svetlana and natalia....but why have the guy from amsterdam there...that was a bit much...and the kids at the end...not right...for some candy they would do that?????

overall, it was entertaining but as with almost any movie put out there, they could have done more.

Lol. Yeah that was deffinately a moment. But then again, they were more or less implying that they would do that anyway. Just for f***ing with them...

So I guess the candy was more a bribe to not do it to them and instead do it to the other guys.

yeah, but come on...i can see throwing rocks and maybe slashing tires and robbing them. but crushing skulls? those were some evil little bastards. they missed a few hugs when they were younger.

hype. it is not a tarantino style film at all...so don't be fooled by the name...and all the teaser art is just that...teaser...it is a bit gory...but not all that in terms of story and believability.

I couldn't get into Hostel. This was the first time I went to the theater in 8 years (I'm an indie film type of person and enjoy more extreme horror). Probably won't go back for another 8 to 10.

Alot of people liked it, though. All in taste I suppose.
