| Ya, I'm not a huge horror film fan... but Zombie does ok work. His stuff is just usually more shocky and gory than they used to be.
I'm guessing that's sarcasm about him being a horror film buff...  - did you ever see his DVD collection? It was nuts. | |

| I'm going to agree with most all that's been said.... liked the first part with younger Michael; it was slightly insightful and gave some flesh to the inner workings of his mind. But I started losing interest when we hit 15 Years Later and he set off after his sister.

| OK, finally watched it. Wasn't too impressed. First of all, it wasn't scary. The whole background thing didn't explain anything for me. His step-dad is a drunk and his mom is a whore. Big deal. That makes a serial killer? It made no sense. Compared to the original, this is a D rating. I prefer not knowing what he was like as a kid. It makes it more horrific wondering what the hell is wrong with this guy. Zombie overthought this movie and by trying to get into the psyche of Micheal Myers as a kid only hurts the overall legend of the serial killer. The original should have remained the one and only.
