| Halloween: Zombie's remake....any reviews? Curious if anyone has seen this yet, and if it is as bad as the reviews.

| SPOILERS SPOILERS **minor ones
I did like it, however it could have been easily a half hour shorter.
they incorporated EVERYTHING from the original, **plus what i really like, is you get to see Michael Myers as a kid for almost the first 40 minutes!!
the graphicness is about the same, and you get to See daniel Harris' boobs
you don't see much of michael as an adult with his mask off (he is blocked by hair)
it's worth a watch, but it leaves many things open...
and sid haig has 2 parts 1 as a security cop, and one as a grave digger..
and EVERYBODY from the devils rejects makes a cameo (well at least the actors do)
its worth seeing for the first 40 minutes alone (plus michaels sister as a kid is hot)
and it wraps up some more of why michael was michael questions

| Very Good Movie. I wouldn't of watched this remake if they wouldn't of added the Prequel stuff.
the scenes leave a residue in your mind and it will take a few days before it clears your memory. |

| Personally, This movie for me wasn't as good as I expected it to be. As a stand alone movie, it was ok. The concept was great, and getting to know the mind of Michael Myers, but all the elements that made the original scary is totally missed. At one point I felt like I was watching the wrestler Kane when he use to wear his mask. Overall, it's a good movie to rent, but skip it in the theatres. |

| i expect to see some replica masks sold on the web. u know the ones that were covering his walls.
On a side note. there is a working copy of halloween on the net. I haven't seen it but i did talk to a friend of mine that has. we compared scenes and endings.
the working copy does have a different ending than the theatrical. I wonder if some of that will make it to the dvd. |

| Well, since the thread was brought back up--and I just watched it yesterday... i gotta say, the first part was interesting, but with any rob zombie movie, the acting is subpar. You kindof expect that with older horror flics, and if thats what he was going for--super. Otherwise, the story up until he's looking for his sister is pretty entertaining. |
