So I have been using DVDFab for a few months now, and I love the program. When I burn DVDs, I am looking for highest quality, and I want to retain all of the special features. Therefore, compressing a full DVD onto 1 single-layer blank is not for me. So far, DVDFab has been great in accomplishing these tasks.

My problem is that DVDFab seems to be limited to 4x burn speeds (and slow read speeds). I have a 16x burner, and use high-quality 8x blank DVDs that are capable of 16x burning on my Plextor burner. Problem is, I can not find a program that will split DVDs, and burn at maximum speeds. Decrypter/Nero or Decrypter/Shrink/Nero or Shrink/Nero are great options, and allow me to burn at 16x, but not split onto 2 DVDs.

Can somebody help me? I've searched everywhere online, including DVD authoring forums, to no avail. Thanks in advance!

Well I have used Clone DVD, it allows you to select to keep (or not) the menu, and which video / sound options you want to retain. It then does the minimum amount of compression to fit onto 1 disc.

So theoretically you could copy the movie to one disk by selecting the movie and menus (picking only the soundtrack and subtitles you want, and then do the same for the special features onto another disc.
