Yeah, the guy that sold his for $12,900 is going to have to pay something like $400 in ebay fees. So hopefully is was for real or he's screwed.

I didn't feel like reading through the whole thread to see if someone already mentioned this, so forgive me if they did I remember maybe 6 months to a year ago someone had an ebay auction with a long description that explained how their recently purchased NES was haunted. He even had pictures and said you could see a face on it (you couldn't). It was pretty weird. Then a few days later someone posted a parody auction that said their SNES was haunted by a cat. He even had a photoshopped picture of a ghost cat on the console. Very hilarious.

Holy Grail....

I remember seeing some nutbag from Ireland or something sell the Holy Grail not so long ago. Think he fetched about 100 grand for it... It cracked me up. "This is the genuine article. The last cup of Christ protected by Joseph of Arimatea" or something... It was plain hilarious. The fact that people can sell something like that, not to mention that people BUY it, makes it all the more laughable. Anyway, thats the weirdest I have ever seen on eBay. Too bad I cant find the link for it, as I dont know how to search for ended auctions.

All the people buying XBox 360's for $600+ are gonna feel pretty stupid if Microsoft moves forward with their plan to put out a Blu-Ray version by next summer.

Or how about the guy who sold an empty 360 box for $600?

Not sure if it was mentioned but there's a recent auction for the XBOX 360 with a huge ton of small print which no one will really read. Only the very last line is "Remember, the item your bidding on is a PICTURE of the XBOX 360 and not the console itself. Happy bidding!"

Crazy.

There was also the auction where the seller had stolen someones bandwith and picture for an auction. So the owner of said picture instead uploaded images of Asian women eating...feces. Disgusting.
