Ever since I upgraded to Firefox 1.5 both rc and final I have had problems.

I can't view wmv files directly in Firefox, but I can in IE. I can't see flash in Firefox, but I can in IE. I can't see the java thing at the bottom on this site in Firefox but I can in IE. I can't watch trailers on apple in Firefox but I can in IE.

Now I know what you are thinking, "you need plugins" well the problem is, I have already been to pluginDoc and got the plugins I needed, but I had problems there too, it failed to install the java plugin, the flash and shockwave plugin installed fine but obviously didn't help much.


I can't remember having these problems in 1.07. Please tell me that I don't need to go back to IE.
