I bought AVP yesterday at Wal-mart as they had the best price around here, but at the 45min mark, it pixelated and started to jump. I exchanged it twice and each copy did it at the same point. The fourth disc played fine. Anyone else have this problem?

A while back I bought Band of Brothers and had the same type of problem, disc 2 kept sticking at the same point. I had to go through three box's before we found one thats worked.

Movie Man

Sounds similar to what happened with some of the Star Wars Trilogy. Tons of problems with them locking up on Disc 1.

I'm sure you already have, but did you try playing them in different DVD players?

I Had issues with Speed and T2 SE Edition. Turns out it was my dvd player. With my new Phillips DVP642 both work fine.

several diff players were tried. my 2 home players and my laptop and my my car to no avail. It works well now but the return girl at Wal-mart thought it was odd that i kept coming back with the disc.
