Best Rock Concerts?

Hey all, I have this week seen two of my favorite bands live in concert for the first time. I thought it would make a good thread for us to talk about "Your favorite rock concert".

This week I saw KISS in all there glory (have loved kiss since I was 2yrs old) being the first time I have seen them I was blown away by the onstage presence they have. I also saw two days later another childhood favorite, Ozzy Osbourne which was just awesome to see him rocking!

I was front row at Paul Stanely last year and got to go back stage and get my photo taken with him and have a few things signed which again was just a dream come true!

Whats yours?

I wish I could have seen them in their heyday, but the Queen + Paul Rodgers show I saw a couple of years ago was probably the best concert I've ever seen.

The Who in 1989 is right up there, too.

Hmm... I'm going to go with non-rock/rock:

LL COOL J - 1997
Dave Matthews 1996, 1998, 2000, 2002
Alice in Chains 1996
Prince - 1998 - I think he was just "symbol" then
Incubus 2003/2006 - by far the best peforming live band I've seen

hmm, a couple of my favorites have already been mentioned (obviously different cities), but anyway:

Beastie Boys 1993, 1996
Alice In Chains 1996
Pearl Jam/Smashing Pumpkins/ Red Hot Chili Peppers 1991
Guns 'N Roses 1992 maybe?
David Bowie 1990
Ozzy Osbourne 1991?

Way too many to list them all but here's a few of my Favs:

Kiss's first reunion show, New Years Eve '95?

Metallica opening for Ozzy in '85?

Megadeth/ Sanctuary/ Warlock in '88?

Grateful Dead - too many times to list

Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers in '01

Jimmy Buffett - too many times to list

Dream Theater - 20th anniversary show in '07

Ace Frehley - 6 or 7 times in different clubs. All kick ass

Billy Joel & Elton John in '97?

Joe Satriani/ Steve Vai/ Kenny Wayne Sheppard in '97

Armoured Saint/ W.A.S.P./ Metallica - cant remember the year maybe '89?

Suicidal Tendencies/ Metallica in "03?

Limp Bizkit at one of the OzzFests I've been to

Black Sabbath at more than one of the OzzFests I've been to

I'm sure that there's more but that all I can come up with now. Boy, I miss my 20's all of a sudden.

I really want to see blues traveler in concert but since Im in Australia I will have to wait for them to come out here. I saw Phil Collins in 88 which was awesome,

Elton John in 07 which rocked as well.
