| Policy change implemented Hello All--
I'll be emailing out some information on this as well.
For those of you that had purchased credits, or have current subscriptions, this will not affect you. If you've had subscriptions, and recently purchased credits--it could, but likely did not.
This is the change that we implemented:
If you had/have an expired subscription, your credits were moved to the credits (checking) table manually. You will need an active subscription to use them. There is now a 6$/year option to use or switch to between subscriptions if needed. We raised that initial cost, due to it not being pushed to all members.
If you have a current subscription, your new credits are being applied to the new table, and will fall under the same guidelines as the people with expired. We'll be going through subscriptions manually and moving them to the subscription table.
Any credits purchased, or earned, will now funnel toward the credits_saved (savings) table. EVERYONE that had credits, now have them here, unless you fall under one of the groups mentioned above (expired or current subscriptions). Everyone else, will go unchanged--business as usual.
We'll be upping the cost of credits slightly, and will run the 'deals' less often to help offset site costs.
Please feel free to post up if you have questions.
Thanks! |

| Well, seems like I missed a whole bunch there the past few days.
Sounds like everything is still ok for those of us who only purchased credits. |

| HeyJayhawk, how am I directly going to be affected by this? Am I still able to use my 146 credits I currently have without paying for the subscription?

| How does this work for the credits a member has won while placing a wager? |

| It sounds like you came up with a fair way to fix the "glitches" in your credit policy. I have just one question though...If I have credits in both the "savings" and the "checking" tables, when I download a cover which one will it come out of? |

| it works in this order:
credits-earned > subscription-credits (if subscription is active) > else no download
Let me break it down again:
1. if you have never paid for a subscription, you are not affected at all, nothing changes
2. if you have had a subscription, earned credits, and its expired--you are affected
3. if you have a subscription, its active, your credits will eventually be moved to the new table--all current credits earned, will be applied to the new table.
4. all credits earned or purchased without a subscription, going forward, are not affected by a subscription.
Bottom line, this only affects subscriptions--and it doesn't do anything if your subscription is active.
I'll update the "saved" and "checking" terms: http://r1db.com/board/credits.php?do=banking - check there |

Cause bought about 400 or maybe 500 credits a long time ago (summer of 2006 I think) when there was a great one-off deal. It didn't say anything about a subscription as far as I can remember. |
