I hope this reaches people before it's too late. It would seem that for, at least, the last 5-6 months the absentee administrator at ********* has let the site slip and is now just taking peoples' money.

This was brought to my attention by several users commenting that they paid over there but never received their subscription. I decided to peak in and it would seem that this is the case. A couple months ago, Ion made an appearance to assure people he's working to correct it, but only made a private thread where people could bitch instead of publicly bitch. Now, new potential victims don't even have fair warning that they'll never get what they paid for until it's too late.

I don't know too many of the people running the other sites anymore. I'm hoping Icoty will be kind enough to post this on his page and strip virtualaftershock of any links to *********.

I'm not sure what we can do at this point, other than sit back and watch. For those that still have accounts, I'd suggest posting in different sections suggesting people move away from the site (to any of the reputable cover sites).

For those that have been ripped off and are looking for a new home, you are more than welcome here--I've created a subscription for the users of ********* for 10$ rather than 16$. I'd like to do it for free, but more people = more bandwidth If you are interested, PM me and I'll move you to a usergroup that is able to see that subscription.

Unfortunately all we can do is sit back and watch. I say get the word out as best as possible to anyone and everyone that the site is dead, the owner is running a scam and ripping people off and that people need to move away from the site and to more reputable places (here, my place, others, etc.).

For anyone that hasn't seen my post at ********* or RTC: I am giving ********* members that want a new home at RTC 500 credits when they sign up (or for current memberships, let me know they were gen members that were robbed). RTC doesn't run on a subscription service (it's pay as you go), and 500 Credits may not seem like much... but it's decent for things I have planned for the future....

How does one get the 500 credits. I will switch to RTC from ********* in heart beat. I really am tired of that site anyway. You can tell most of the good covers are leaving for other sites.
