That being said, it will be the last time R1DB participates or puts money into a competition like that. We'll happily host our own and welcome those that want to participate. We did not have a judge representing R1DB. There was an individual that was not associate with a site that was judging the competition that overly and unnecessarily rude to Demonology. I'm not sure why someone with that mentality would be allowed to judge or even be involved--but it's not something we'll have to worry about in the future. Coty explained why he wanted that particular judge [sebra?] to be there, but him being there forced our judge to drop.

it's unfortunate that this hobby still attracts people that act like 12 year olds and have no way of expressing themselves without throwing cussing and insulting people, personally.

Well, I am very happy to announce the winners of the Big Intersite Contest presented by Virtual Aftershock and sponsored by 11 different cover sites (Replace The Case, ***********, ************, R1DB, euphoricFX, MR, ***************, FLMN, Swecovers, Vendettta, DVDtoDVDr), and IMANDIX PRO! First of all, I would like to thank all of the contestants for taking part. Without your participation, this contest would not have been possible. Also, thank you to the judges for taking part and spending countless scrutinizing and analyzing each of the covers.

Now, before I unveil the winners, lets get to some other details that I need to share before we do the big reveal. First of all, we had 13 judges to begin with, but because of unforeseen factors, the total scores have been taken from 11 of the 13 judges. One judge withdrew on his own will and the second judge had sent his scores to the wrong email and subsequently erased his score sheet from his computer and was not able to recover it. Also, anonymity was a choice here. I have provided spreadsheets below outlining the breakdown of points by judge. Some judges elected to be anonymous so their names do not appear on the spread sheet.

Having said that, here are out winners! In first place, we have dweez (cover #16) in 1st place, Antistatic (cover #1) in 2nd place, and finally Arkflip (cover #17) in 3rd place. Congratulations to our top finishers! And here are the rest of the final rankings:

I just looked at all the entries, and call me biased. Paper Pills and Cavemanlawyer both submitted excellant entries. They should have placed much higher, I guess I can thank sebra for that.....
