Rules for Labels: READ FIRST BEFORE UPLOADING!

First and foremost: we only accept Region 1 labels here!

All labels must be of a diameter no less than 1400 px and no larger than 1500px. But MUST be at 300dpi - NO OTHER DPI!

The center hole must be reduced to no bigger than 16mm diameter, this is because it will then allow complete printing to any currently available full face printable disc.

For Custom labels: we expect the same level of quality for labels that we do for our custom covers. Only Hi-Res images should be used and not have their faces or any main parts of the image cut off by the center hole. Logos should be nice and crisp.

For Scanned labels: The majority of original labels are of such poor quality that it is not worth scanning them. Please bear this in mind. We also do not want simple labels scanned for example a solid color with a title and logos, a custom could be created in less time and to a higher quality.

We don't want labels that are a plain background and some text. Anyone that can use even the most basic functions in paint could do a better and quicker job.

All signs of moire (also known as half-tone dots) must be removed. Colors must be correct and text and logos should be crisp and readable, a good practice is to replace these if needed.

Failure to adhere to these simple rules will result in deletion.

I'd Like to add an obvious suggestion to the above set of rules

**PLEASE do a search BEFORE uploding your "Label" to make sure that it is not here already!!

thanks

I have a couple of questions.
Why the range of sizes (1400-1500 px) Is there not just one correct size?
Is there a way to "link" labels to the cover that they go with, or will folks just have to do a seperate search?

Send a message via AIM to jayhawk
you can link it in the description if you upload it first.

Good Idea about the linking of the label to the cover.

What does a label cost vs a cover? 1 label = 1 credit?

Searched but did not find the answer.

if you upload a SET of label and cover, then you should link each other in the description section. otherwise no need to link it.

Some of the labels being uploaded here are nothing but shit for quality. And what is with not fixing the center with clone tool. Custom labels should be full face.

It is a pita to fix the center. When you do, someone always bitches that you did not clone it well enough. The center does not print so I don't worry about it. If the center bothers you, you should fix it yourself. Also they are screen printed at around 75 line screen so the quality is going to suffer. They do print out fine though.

I agree Custom labels should not have the hole in the center. Ones that do, should be rejected, imo.
