If You Could Have 1 "Superhero Power" Which would it be:

For Me it would be super speed,

(so i could be a professional baseball player)

as nothing would get by me in the field or drop before i catch it.

ability to read minds so i can tell what everyone is thinking, therefore evoke the response i want from them by telling them what they want to hear....or need to hear. what about the jedi mind trick?

flying would be the best... hands down.
i would go everywhere...
but how fast could i fly?
would i need a licence?
would i have to get ground clearance?
could i be shot down?

i'm always doutful about the flying thing, mainly because, :

we all know what "winter" winds are like, and if we are flying, we would be affected by the low tempartures and winds, (unless we fly in a parka)

so unless it's used for quick, short flights, flying would be not so great..

**of course there is always that whole "saving someone from a fire, or fall" etc ..but
even though we can fly , we don't have any "extra" strength other than our present strength..

as flying is the obvious choice, however IMO it has its drawbacks...

invisibility........and yes, my motivations are purley perverse

The others have to many limitations
Strength - If you don't look buff, this could be a problem
Invisibility - You have to be naked
Flight - Not easily hid
Read Minds - Pretty useless. Now if you could control minds, that's different.

Personally, I would rather have transfermation powers (ala Molecule Man or the original Firestorm). Lead to gold (or platinum).

uuummm, with what I would be looking at, it would help to be naked...

Flight coupled with Super Speed.

Not only do I hate having to deal with all the other idiots on the road who cant seem to manage with only 2 dimensions, the power of flight means nothing to me unless I cant get wherever I need to get to (whilst soaring above the lame 2-D'ers), as fast as I possible can without burning up in the atmosphere.

But If We really wanna talk super-powers, I want to be able to travel time, so I could jump about 300-400 years ahead - Im tired of the present...progression moves too slow, and politics just gets in the way.

travelling time, I couold hopefully wind up getting being able to have a vehicle or a technology that handles my current needs of my chosen super-powers.
