Hey all,
I was just looking at my collection of covers and I realized that I have some amazing covers thanks to a lot of you guys! I can think of at least 5 or 10 people that I used to always see on DVDCA that should be hired by the studios to design their covers! I was just wondering which custom cover (s) is your favorite? (favourite for us Canadians) And or who is your favorite artist/designer?

majortom, bunnydojo, christb2k1, icoty, pykespeek(his cast away and adaptation are my favorite takes on those movies), movienut are the ones that are coming to mind. bunnys kill bill covers are some of my favorites. major tom's lord of the rings the return of the king is too. sickmanofasia's cold mountain is really good. im not sure who made it but search for fear and loathing in las vegas and youll see the beige one with the drawings is AWESOME. minerwerks goonies cover is really cool. movienuts matchstick men is good. oh i could go on.

While I am only using one of his covers...Se7en...to date, ( i kinda gotta thing about using my own ) I recall wonderboy making some very impressive covers - Pixarman had a nice Pixar set of covers...BTW - anyone here who might have his Little Nemo, I am in much want of it to close out my Pixar set - BunnyD was always "thinking out of the box" if you'll pardon the pun, this one didnt make too many but EvenStar was a potential hopeful for for cover making - and yeah - the list does go on, Frosty

on a side, I was alwyas giivng JasontheGiant some shit or another about his cover composition - they seemed to work for him - they were too plain for my taste, and he started going on this whole VECTOR ILLUSTRATOR kick using vector art to create photographic likeness - doesnt really work for me - I never did care for vector photography, but even so, some of his later work did start to grow on me.

By far, Bunnydojo is my favorite designer. I love every cover he's done (though I don't even have that many--7 maybe?).

chrisb2k (i think that's right) and goby make some awesome covers, in addition to others already mentioned.

I'd add Lego to the list. I have no idea who the guy is, but his DareDevil cover comes to mind as one of the tightest and most professional I've seen to date.
