I just close the case and after some time it just adjusts itself..

as for spanning spines - just make sure you print the EXACT size of the cases you use and you won't have a problem.

120gms matt paper but if your using high res pics then it comes out perfect any way

My paper isn't overly thick so I just put the paper in the case and close it. I would want to crease the paper by folding it anyway.

After sliding the art into the cover, I generally just run my finger along the side and spine which adds the crease. I do that once for the left and once for the right

I never have any problems with folding. If you line the insert up with where it should go before closing the case, when you close the case, it should fit into place.
