Okay so missfunk unknowingly started this one back in "The Best Remakes Ever" topic. Who played the better Shaft ?

switch...your arguement is flawed because you are weighing in on the actor for his other work outside of shaft. if you judge jackson vs roundtree you have to go with the original....roundtree kicks ass. if you are talking about the actor's entire career, then sam jackson obviously.

Perhaps. I just added the xtra irrelevant material to try and sway folx :-P
but Ive edited it to reflect a better more logical post (however biased)
Could have used an action shot for Jackson from Shaft though .

Roundtree. Both for his actual portrayal of the character and for the fact that he was in the original which is just a much better film, imo.
