Question Planning to upgrade to HD or Blu-Ray?

With the new technologies planning on hitting stores over the next month to a year, I was curious who is planning on upgrading and to what. Personally, I will probably wait until the PlayStation 3 comes out with its built in Blu-Ray drive

Are there people planning on buying both? I didn't add that option because it seemed kinda rediculous, but then thought there just might be someone crazy enough on this site to do it, so sorry if I left you out

I could have picked the last 2, I'll wait and see how the market unfolds, and either way, I'm not buying anything this year.

I wont buy anything this year. I heard Microsoft is gonna release a Hd drive add-on for the xbox 360. maybe i'll wait for that. Really not looking forward to replacing all my dvds with HD.

Can't see replacing everything. I'll wait until the medium drastically changes. To go from DVD to HD (using the term loosely) doesn't warrant replacing the collection, just buying the new ones in HD. Either way, I'm not latching on for a while yet.

You would have to be loaded to be able to waste money like that. No point in buying anything until we see what happens. Betamax and mini discs were supposed to be big, look at them!

If the price is more or less reasonable I might get me a Blu-Ray player for my PC ... don't know ... decision of the moment I guess.
Will there ever be HD-DVD players for PC ? (haven't been following the "battle" that closely)
