Best Dvd box sets

For me this is a tough area but I would say the extended editions of the lord of the ring trilogy. The content is great the cover art is amazing and the loads of extra's are indepth. Please give me your opinion because I'm always looking for a good boxed set.

Exclamation

I like The Ultimate Matrix Collection and Alien Quadrilogy box sets. I still haven't made it through all of the extras on those sets.

IMHO the LORD rules supreme with MATRIX and ALIEN sharing the second position. LOTR will be hard to surpass in terms of content, thematic and entertainment.

Thumbs up

Another winner is the new Planet of the Apes box. It would have been a slam dunk if they hadn't included the Tim Burton travesty.

Actually I kinda appreciate the fact they added it in. Makes it even more of a complete set, the good as well as the bed. Not all the matrix movies were good either and the box set is a must have IMO.
But this planet of the apes set is just ina league of its own. Packed inside of an apes head just makes it so uber cool. I mean what if the alien quadrilogy boxset had been released with this idea in mind? >>>Faint<<<
