What movie haunts you?

I saw a movie a long time ago. I can not remember who the actors where , I can not remember the title of the movie. All I remember is the plot of the movie.
First I must say that this movie came out before the Ninja craze where it was Ninja this and Ninja that. It was a movie about the life of a man and how he grew up. It was about his father teaching him how to become a Ninja.
The movie kept going back and forward between the assignment he was doing and him reflecting upon his life and remembering the lessons he was taught from the time he was a child.
I don't remember much more than that. I would really love to know the name of this movie as I would love to have it in my collection. I would even special order it. However I do not know the name of it.

Anyone have any suggestions as to what the title of the movie coudl be?

Anyone have a similiar experience and have a movie that haunts them?

Nothing ever really haunted me....but I have been just creeped out of my seat...

Have to agree that Blair Witch 1 did have me on edge...I remember watching it and just getting more and more creeped out as it went and it didnt give you time to chill out form the last freak out before the next one just kept you on that edge.....I remember by the time it got to the end of the movie, I was standing up and at the entrance of the doorway of the room it was playing in....Mrs. Jupiter, was watching from behind me all the way from the kitchen.

I had to watch some "regular" comedy TV after wards to edge down so I could get to sleep - my mistake for not putting this movie in until 10 pm (what can I tell ya - we like to watch creepy movies in teh dark)

Now my Father....he likes creepy suspense thriller movies, and there was only one movie that I ever remember sent him running to his bed from the den after he finished it....I think it was the 39 steps, but I cant be sure - I just know it had a 30's number in the title - I havent seen the movie yet to determine what could possibly be in it to make a full grown man run to his bed from watching a movie

The first Halloween. 25 years later, and I'm still afraid of Micheal Myers.

Hey Thomas - You're not talking about American Ninja are you?

When I was 12, my father had rented American Werewolve in London, and then got called away on an emergency...so me and my 2 younger brothers figured we'd watch it. We spent the next 3 hours huddled in our rooms!! haha

These movies didn't "haunt" me, but some scenes made me cringe when I first saw them: Ichii The Killer, Oldboy, and 3...Extremes.

5 year old daughter watched Beetlejuice for the first time on Sunday. The last 2 nights she's been freaked out in her room. Bizarre. The same girl I took to see RotK in the theater 1.5 years ago. Maybe she's just old enough to be scared now.

Heh 3 extremes.. I will never look at dim sum the same way again.
The Lost Boys still give me a weird feeling.
And.. The Audition.. I rub my ankles just thinking about it.
