My plan is to wait a couple more years. The switch from VHS to DVD was a clear upgrade, plus movie prices actually fell. Switching from DVD to HD/BR is also an upgrade, though a lesser one to me, however prices for HD/BL are higher.

If good players fall below $100, and big chunk of HD/BR movies start falling below $10 sooner than expected, however, I'm in at that point.

VHS was around for 20 years before DVD. I've owned DVD's for barely 5 years. It's too soon for me to start replacing DVD's.

I love Blu-Ray's. I have around 12 now.
