I hit about 750 before I had to reload Windows XP, and forgot to save a copy of my excel spreadsheet. And I count TV shows by the season to count as one, not as multiple discs. I'm at about 500 converted to thinpaks.

2200+ Titles and still growing. Bought a couple of aluminium boxes which hold 600 discs. One is full and starting on the second one. These are great for storage problems. Discs and held in plastic sleeves with a soft cloth like material to protect the playing surface.

at this point, i have 2 collections. in my personal collection, i say that i have about 112 movies now. These are films that I have watched...and watched...and watched again.
Then, my second set which is what is left of the massive hoard i once spoke of...films that i have been unable to unload for one reason or the other.
i was listening to the radio the other day and the DJ was looking for someone that new lots of movie quotes for a game...this chick called up and said she owned 5000+ dvds and knew every single one of them. She couldn't get any of the quotes right...dumbass!!!! (the quotes were from Jerry Mcguire and Titanic)
hey...a thought...what happens to all of our collections when one day..every movie, everywhere, is avaiable on demand...no more use for players and physical discs????

We all have a party and dance the night away. And all my dvd's become little frisbees for my boys, while my wife bitches at me about all the cases, covers, ink, and paper I spent money on.

I have over 400 movies at the moment as well as quite a few TV series.
Waiting on another 20 to arrive in stock, i aslo would buy 6 or so each week. |
