I thought it sucked. No big twists. A total cop out. dull, boring, and lame. Almost as bad as the Seinfeld finale. I'm glad that Tony lives, but what the fuck? It was so damn predictable.

wtf was that?? That was a HORRIBLE finale. I am glad Phil died though, I hated that prick. Besides that wtf. No action no closure on the story no nothing!

Tony or AJ should have died. I thought the 3 were going to die in the diner and Meadow was going to live because she was having trouble parking her car outside (girls..). I thought they were going to get smoked. Total bullocks. There was no closure at all. This is a mob story not Brady Bunch

I read this interesting post someone made last night about the final scene:

"I thought the implication was clear. Tony IS DEAD and WAS CLIPPED by someone. We the audience have always seen the episodes from Tony's point of view, and the blackened silence is what Tony sees and hears when he finally gets clipped. Remember the conversation with Bobby at the lake? "I wonder if you hear the one that gets you" - the final episode answers that question. That is why they flashed back to it at the end of last weeks episode. He never heard the one that killed him."

I can't totally buy this because I feel a movie is in the works.

BTW, the cat staring at Christopher Moltisanti's picture to me confirms the theory that he was a rat. There were several other clues during this season as well...like his zipped-up-to-the-top jacket and turning up the car stereo (just before he crashed) since he was wired.

But I doubt the "Tony IS DEAD" theory and have to think there is more...IE a movie will be made. There Chris will be exposed as a rat.

as for it being a dissappointment to some (ala seinfeld) you have to realize that anything they did short of killing everyone off in the most grandiose fashion would be considered wrong. how do you end a show about nothing....have it be about nothing. how do you end a show without justifying everything tony has done and making him look heroic and making aj look like a little bitch....you end it in a mundane everyday sorta way as if life goes on in the mob...business as usual

I hate how it just cuts to black. I bet more than half of the people, like me, grabbed their remote and went "wtf. Whats wrong with the fuckin tv!!!" There better be a movie to tie everything up.
