Question Plasma, LCD, DLP

What kind of T.V. you you prefer. "Plasma" "LCD" or "DLP" and why do you prefer it?

For me it's Plasma.

Because,

1
you get a whiter white, and a blacker black.

2
You don't get that stuttering in the picture when there is fast action on the tv, with LCD you do.

3
Plasma has a better resolution then any other.

4
Plasma has a longer life time then any other.

not all of your points are necessarily true. you need to do some more homework.

I dont think Plasma has a longer life than LCD. Like GBK said, check your facts before starting a thread.

I hear many mixed thiings and I have done some research, (because we are going to 'upgrade to a 60' or above ...

now if i could afford anything, i might go the route of a plasma, BUt i personally think i will go lcd, and i find that LG or hitachi seem to be the way to go, any thoughts on this anyone?

The points expressed by me are by experience and what I have seen about tv's in the past. And I have done a lot of homework to go the plasma way.

once again this is by experience, I have bought 2 LCD tv's and 2 Plasma tv's at the same time, both LCD tv's had broke down after about 2 1/2 years. And the 2 Plasma I got are still running strong.

why would you buy 2 lcds and 2 plasmas at the same time? Did you put one in your million dollar go cart?

The reason I bought 2 of each is, I was un shure of what to buy at the time, and I wanted to see what one I liked best.

And it is'nt A 1 million go cart, it's a 1.2 million go cart now that I got the plasma in there! LOL
