cover search question
Hey guys..
Sorry before hand if this has already been asked and answered, however i could not find a post regarding topic
Can anyone tell me why cover artist names have been removed from search hits? Before when i searched for covers, i could on the hits page, see artist name beneath each cover hit, and it is very helpful for me to find my favourite cover artists..
Now i have to check manually each cover to see if it would be interesting for me, which is kinda annoying..
Anyhow,i hope this is a glitch,if not please explain to me why this was done to the search hits?
Best regards
Tsunamijhoe

Different searches are available for different user groups. As a member, without premium/designer/mod/scanner status, you don't have the ability to see that. There are different ways to search, just depends on group.
As far as the search you are talking about, artist name wasn't removed, just the individual that uploaded it. We'll be adding the artist field back eventually.

Hmm, so this is a recent change? Usually when i search using the search field when i go to the covers page, all results would then display artist/uploader name beneath the individual covers, so i wouldn´t have to manually check artist name for each cover i was interested in by clicking their respective thumbnails.
No biggie,it just annoys me is all

I just sent you a PM Jayhawk about this problem. To those who need a cover for their Disney Storybook collection, The last big upload was done around page 12, so if you set your covers per page to 90, you will have to look from there on back. Guess I will have to figure out another way to set up the search since I just did 150+ covers for the Tall Tales Collection (Live Action) only to have it stop at 100 also, not good. I can only wait to see what I do for the Storybook Collection (Animation), there is 150+ covers for that set also, then there is the Muppets, Pixar, Treasures, Archives.
Now if you don't feel like doing allot of searching go here: http://hailstorm.r1db.com

That only works for some groups, Hailstorm (like yours). Not everyone can perform that search, but if they are designers/scanners- or subscribers, they can.
